CGI Word Theme

One of my 1st module units introduced everyone to CGI animation. The task involved selecting a range of words and then creating a GCI video based on that word. For my example, I picked sci-fi and then created the word in Autodesk 3ds Max. I then added a metal texture, to make the word look like a spaceship.

Once animated, I exported each frame as a series of photos which were then imported into Adobe after effects. The final touches such as background, smoke and sound effects were added, to create the result below.
